The Hobbit

Finally I've finished this! Ahhh! I've been working on drawing all the characters for a few weeks now. I've worked on them slowly, due to my timing and depending on how interested I was in working on this rather than something else. 

Bet you never thought you'd see the Hobbit characters in nerdy glasses huh? 8D I have a sort of obsession with nerdy glasses. I just love them. The bigger the better! Of course I couldn't resist drawing the hobbit characters in nerdy glasses. I've wanted to do this for a while now, but I never got around to it. These took quite a bit of time, but it was a labor of love. I'm really pleased with how these came out. Inspiration for these came mostly from a set of polymer clay faces with nerd glasses on that I made a while ago, which you can see here -->cheese-cake-panda.deviantart.c…

Originally I did want to make all of these out of clay....but then I realized how long that would take and...ehhh...besides, they are cute like this anyway! I did base these off the movie versions of the characters because well...I like how they look in the movie...so there! And I added Tauriel, even though she wasn't in the books because I actually did like her character....and I figured she would do well to finish the elves row.

I have so many more sets of these I want to draw. I think a Lord of the Rings set would be cute, even a Silmarillion set but those would be all interpative. I actually already have half of a South Park set sketched out. Ahhh so many I want to make! So little time!
