The Nerd Gene Starts Early

I think the title is pretty self explanatory...

I recently found a few old art projects I made in elementary school. Among them are two figures, one of Biblo and one of Smaug. I remember making these in second grade for a shoe box diorama. I remember the assignment was to portray a scene from our favorite story and apparently I picked The Hobbit. I find it funny that even at such a young age I was still super into Tolkien's work. I actually remember when I was little my parents would read The Hobbit and Lords of the Rings to me. I know they aren't really kids books, but I still loved them. I took a picture of the figures I made so here they are 8D

Please keep in mind these were made in second grade....I like to think that I have improved in my sculpting skills since then. When I made these there was also the ring and a ton of piles of treasure, but I have no idea where those have run off too.
